One unhappy chappie here, a Hyundai ran into the LH door on the Vette and the window shattered.
I now require a LH door glass, untinted, with "Astro Ventilation" to suit my Convertible.
What years will suit a 68?
Who has them?
Does Semersheim make replacement door skins to suit 68?
I'll wait to see the door with the paint stripped before we go repair or replace. There is a hole punched through by the window rails and the whole panel has been flexed enough to crack the paint. It is going back to the place which painted it a few years ago for the repair.
I had a look at the glass website and will call them tonight after they get to work. Time zones are not too bad to work out. It is now 10:20PM my time and they get to work in about an hour.
I will take a snap and post it soon. It doesn't look too bad and I did do the driver Parade lap for the Sandown 500 after the accident. The passenger door faced the inside of the circuit so no one saw it.
Joe did you go on the GOR run with COM?

1968 and early 1969 door glass is different than than the newer glass.
As far as I know, they are not available for the convertable and you have to convert to the newer style.
You can still get the correct date code but, the glass will be the newer style and you have to convert. This is what I had to do on my early '69.
Converting to the newer style requires that you get a new window channel (metal channel bar). I got my glass from Corvette Central and they included the channel for no additional cost.

For some reason I thought 68 was different to later models. Another joy of 68 only
