There is a guy I work with that I talked to today he tells me he has an all original 72 B/B auto with no options all original black exterior and black interior that has been sitting behind his house for around 6 years in need of full restoration. I have not seen this car he says he may have a buyer for $7000 dollars He wants to know if that is a fair price for the car?

Short money for an original big block as long as it's all there and not rusted. Finished it could be worth over $40,000. Black was not offered in 72 though.

$7000 sounds like it could be in the ball park. For that price is should be a numbers matching car with a good frame and birdcage. If not, it won't be worth as much. If it is numbers matching and essentailly all there, then it may be worth more than that. Hopefully the buyer has an idea as to how much it cost to restore. It quite easy to spend $1000's and $1000's on parts.
The other guy was given the first choice on the car but I was told that if the deal falls thru I will be given the next shot in buying the car but I wont buy it until I have seen and inspected it first. I was just getting your professional opinions about the value.

Post some pics in a new thread and we will tear it apart, knock it down so bad, lie, ect: and then show the potential buyer the thread.
By the time he's done reading the thread he will run away clutching his check book with both hands.
Then we will give you our honest opinion and if its worth it you can buy it...
Just kidding, I wouldnt want to cheat anybody out of a first grabs
But some pics would be great, both for the potential buyer and possibly you if he decides not to buy it....... Good luck

If the deal does fall thru I will go look at the car and get some pic's for sure. I actually would like to go look at the car anyway to see how it really looks but it is about 1 1/2 hours drive from my house
