Default Bongo's Vette Experience!

So I figured I'd start a thread with all the nice things I'm doing for my baby and see what everyone thought.

First off some pictures with Lily Dog!

I just put in a new 100 amp powermaster alternator which has solved all my problems and will certainly help when I get the money for the killer soundsystem I want.

Lookin' good.

You have to change any wiring when you went up to 100
amps?

Well, I had to replace the 2 prong clip that plugs in the side of the alternator as the stock was falling apart. Otherwise no, I did not replace any other wires.

More good news, I got the cd player working that came with the car. Previous owner thought that it was dead and hadn't replaced it. I got under the console and cleaned up the wiring and took my time to hook it up right and it turned right on!

Things are looking up!

Few more pics! (Lily dog is being a nice girl and hiding the blemishes for the new lady in my life)
.

I'll grab my roomates camera tonight or tomorrow and get some close ups of the interior and damage that needs to be taken care of eventually.

Where did you get the two prong clip from? Mine broke as well and I replaced with generic spade connectors for the time being.

Looking good and welcome to the C3 family. One question usually dogs are afraid of the Vet

I got the part from Advance, they had it stocked. Got some wire connectors that shrink up around the wire with heat and presto!

I'll look for the specific name of the replacement part I got for you tonight.

New news is that today my brake light came on when I was driving down the road and my pedal has to go a lot further in to apply the brakes. So tonight I'm going to be looking for leaks and possibly bleeding the brakes.
