Hey all
I have an extra set of T-Tops that are in good shape.
I mounted them today and had an idea...
Has anybody painted their Tops a different color to break up the color scheme of their C3?
Obviously the red and white don't do much...
So, I am looking for suggestions for a nice contrast for my Classic White paint. I was thinking a Charcoal look at first ..I dont know...
There are alot of new paint formula's on the market (Traveling/Anodized ect
The tops are in very good shape and I would REALLY like to find some type of paint that would (If possible ) Make them look like the smoked glass tops.
I realize this is asking alot but any suggestions are certainly welcome.
Any creative C3 guys willing to post an idea?
Thanks all
Bob
you could try black.... it would be hard to pull off a color change with white though..... how would you feel about doing them in a rag top material?...this way if you dont like it, you can just rip it off......
lemme know what you decide, I could paint em for ya in a day
I Really appreciate the offer Corz... I will certainly keep you in mind.......Thanks!

Thanks Rick, I can do the Photoshop myself.... great idea
Ill play around with it.......
I dont want to touch any of the existing paint as it is less than 2 years old
Side Exhaust is definitely the next in line.
Than when the wood stove fires up I am going to build a SBC for a replacement and hopefully have it installed by April............THANKS ALL!
A neighbor of mine had the same paint scheme....then the US government started ........... ah....... forget it
Needless to say... the car is flat black now.... I know he did it in protest....It used to be a parade favorite too.
You need to paint the whole car red to match the tops
I just had the whole car painted less than 2 years ago, It looks beautiful
I was just looking to do something with the T Tops... thats all
Guess it was a bad idea
*EDIT* Duh....... I diddnt even realize you were joking
