Default Just when I'm thinking about selling the Vette .....

I take it for a nice drive on a crisp clear morning, and that thought quickly goes by the wayside.

I've been looking for a '55 Chevy semi-seriously and hadn't driven the Vette too much between the heat and rain we've been having. Things cooled off and I drove it around this morning. The L-46 just loped along at idle, and screamed above 3000 rpm. The 4 speed has been freshly rebuilt, the clutch is new, all new suspension front and rear. Why would I sell it???

Now I gotta convince the wife that a nice '55 would be a great car for her to cruise in on nice days like today.

Paul, how many Vette's do you have? What do you mean, "no room"??? Just add another couple bays on that garage and you're all set.

The coolest 55 of all time IMHO. Two Lane Blacktop! Just plain mean.
