Default Two 69 Questions...help?

I did a search but I am not coming up with anything on the first question. This is stupid, but the manual does not tell me either. What is the correct interior courtsey bulb for the foot areas on the passenger and driver side? The manual lists the glovebox (#1895), the rear dome (#90) and every other bulb in the car but does not list the foot wells. It had one burnt out an they were both a GE bulb # 631 but I don't think that's correct since there are 2 filiments in that bulb. Anyone know?
Now for the more important question...
My convertible top is pretty new looking and the window is really clear and soft, but there is an area in the center that looks like it maybe got wet or someone put the top down when it was still wet and it dried that way. I have not tried anything with it yet but it looks like one of those things that will not come out.
Before I mess with it I figured I would ask you guys and see if any of you have had to deal with this. I hope the pictures show what I am talking about. Look in the center and ignore the glare from the overhead lights.

Thanks for any advice!

dont know about the bulbs, but for the plastic, I would consider checking marine stores. We got this stuff for our plastic boat enclosure that is like a polish for that type of material. Its meant specifically for plastic windows like that. Works quite well. We used it to get the chafe scratches that the winter shrink wrap left on all the windows.

good luck

Thanks joerags. Any idea what the name of the stuff was? Now that you mention it I remember someone telling me the same thing when i was looking at the car. I just want to find something on the first try if possible so I don't mess up the window.

Thanks FrankVincent but something don't jive with that list. It's saying the step/courtesy area is a 90. The 90 bulb has 2 nipples on the bottom but the sockets take a bulb that would have one nipple. Also my manual says the trunk/cargo takes the 90 and not the 1003. That made sense since the socket for the trunk/cargo in the car had the 2 nipples in it. Maybe a 1103 is similar to a 90 but the 90 works fine in there. I just don't know what goes in the floor. I'll have to run back up to autozone and look at bulbs. I figured it would be the 90 or the 1895 since the book listed those as the most common so those are the ones I had picked up today. The 1895 is too small for the socket.

Checked some other data and found in my corvette Specifications Manual, dated Sept 1968 ....
instrument panel courtesy lamps use #631 (2 bulbs)

I'll check my Specification manual against that Sylvania chart and see what else is different ...

Thanks,
well...thats what was in there. One was burnt out so I went to replace it and it seemed strange since that bulb has 2 filiments in it.

This is old, but going off memory, I am almost positive it was the 631 bulb...

It seems you are stuck on this "two filament" thing, if the bulb people are telling you is the bulb you took out, WELL THEN.................that's the bulb, get past the filament thing. If it is a one pegger bulb, filament is unimportant............................. ..........Keep it dark

these bulbs are frequently accidently mixed up, single and dual filament , the base is the same, with either 1 or 2 contacts, then the next owner is searching for the wrong bulb.
Look in the socket ... 1 or 2 contacts ??
and yes they can short or open the system, if wrong type was installed.
