I honestly dont know the difference. Im going to assume cut pile though.
Jerry imagine a piece of rope-fold it in two-with the loop at the top and the ends in your hand-the loop at the top would be 80/20 "Loop"-now keeping the ends in your hand cut the loop at the top in two-that is "cut pile"-if yours is fuzzy like that then you have cut pile. The catalog will tell you what came from the factory but the carpet could have been changed. The guys were just ribbin you a little, nothing personal I'm sure.Take it in stride and get them back later each and every one !!!!! (especially Rich-gotta watch that guy)
I apologize as well...this is the first C3 "floor mat" thread I have ever seen...hence my "popped cherry" comment....so I'm sorry to have dorked up your thread...
Rich
My car came with 80/20 dark saddle. My wife bought me flool mats for Christmas last year and she got cut pile ones (she doesn't know any better). They look great but if I had bought them myself I would have gotten the ones that say Stingray on them.
