Stupid question regarding floor mats
I have a 76 Vette. Do I need cut pile or 80/20 loop to match the carpet?

Is your carpet cut pile or is it looped?

I went with the below mats with my 76. They are not correct for the year, but look awesome and match the carpet perfectly.

I dont think it is necessary that you have 80/20 mats if you have 80/20 carpet. The 80/20 mats are kind of flimsy so I went with pile.
I had the above mats custom made by the company that makes them for Paragon etc. You can tell them what color carpet, surging around the outside and stitching you want. It cost's a few bucks more but it was worth it. I have a dark saddle 80/20 interior so i went with black (shoes less dirt) pile mats with dark saddle surging and dark saddle Stingray stitching. They turned out really nice.

Ecklers sells them for $75. Kinda expensive, but I loved the look and get compliments all the time on the floormats.

I've got the ABS drop-in footwell liners with the carpet at the bottom. I like them, and they aren't much more expensive than those pricey floor mats.

Yeah, those were the ones I was considering. What color is the script? Looks yellow from that picture.

Get down close and look at your carpet. If it is a series of loops, then go with the loop. If not, then it is cut pile.

It is inbetween yellow and gold. Looks awesome against the black carpet.

Jer...sorry if I offended you...hate is such a bad thing...your question about 80/20 loop was good to go but it was just funny to us here in the C3 side to see a question about floor mats. These type of questions are normally found over in the C5 side - hence my poke at you
...now go post a question about brakes or carbs or something -
