Within the last coupla weeks ... there was a post from a fellow who put up pics of very nice looking engine bay ... and then someone noticed that the fan blades had wrong pitch (WAY wrong as in reversed) ... sure enough, he had an aftermarket Vbelt-driven, waterpump-mounted fan on it and the blades were made for reverse rotation ... he had acquired the wrong fan blade ... possibly one for a later vehicle with serpentine belt. The Vbelt-driven, waterpump-mounted fan on a vette is designed to pull air from front of car through rad and into engine bay. If yours ain't doing that, it's wrong and it cannot efficiently cool.
