Anyway, that pic shows exactly what to feel for when you're eaching up there. If you remove the pad, you'll have no problem seeing it.

The funny thing is listening to stories of people that CUT the pad or the headlight stem because they didn't know how to remove it.

Default headlight **** removal

The Aim Manual Says That You Have To Drop The Column And Also There Is A Ground Wire In That Area On The Switch. Do Mark The Two Hoses, Good Luck , I Have Just Ordered My Switch To Install From Ecklers. I Was Told At The Local Gm Dealer That Mine Is Obsolet. I Have A 73

Noobs to the vintage truck scene can never figure out how to get the switch out of those steel dashboards. It's kinda funny.

I know, the '73 Scout II I had was cut up. Someone obvisouly thought cutting the dash around the switch **** would get it out but I have no idea how they had planned to put it back in. It had a patch riveted in place iover the hole, and the switch was dangling behind on the wiring.

Classic I tell ya...I love noobs with tools !!!
