I like them on the chrome bumper cars...not so much on the rubber bumper cars.

I like the looks of the bubble tail lights from the back and from the side. I have a 69 and I haven't put mine on yet but I did test fit them. The color of red on the bubble lights looks cheap compared to the color of red on the factory tails when you put on the brake. It is sort of an orangey red. I thought I might try and find red bulbs for the back (if they make them and I think they do) and try and get a redder red. Any other suggestions?

One more for ya.

I agree about the color also. I've been thinking of going with 2 more factory lens. I really like the 4 tail/brake light setup. I have also been thinking of adding some small aftermarket white backup lights and mounting them under the rear bumper at a bit of an angle and set back a little so they don't show much. They should still provide some decent light for backing and the wires are already there!

I find them to be brighter than stock which is better with all the idiots on the road.

Thanks. It's called Dark Claret Metallic. A deep maroon color. In 82 there were 853 sold in that color.

Either 4 stock or 4 bubble are good- 4 factory for a "stock" appearance, while the bubble provide more of a custom appearance.

I put in 4 factory ones a long time ago. The b/u lights are underneath & reflect off 3" chrome tips.

I went with the flat ones, though they might look better on the non-chrome bumpers, the old ones were rotting.
