Default Is your spare flat??

I was going to clean the spare tire carrier , so I took it down and the spare tire was flatter than a pancake, who knows how long its been flat..I never carried a spare on my c-4 and the c-5 has run flats , I can't remember the last time I had a flat tire on the road. So I decided to leave the whole spare tire carrier and everything else off the car and just carry a plug kit and 12 volt compressor.. Anyone else do this ??

I took my down yesterday on the 74 to install the elect fuel pump and there was a tire and no wheel. I removed the whole set up. I will call AAA or someone else.

Haven't carried that extra weight around for years! Spare tire and carrier are all in the storage shed!

I checked mine a couple of years ago. It still hold air but I don't think it will hold the weight. I carry a plug kit and a pump. Yesterday while driving up to Old Town I got a flat. Right front. Tires are about 2 years old. All the plug kits in the world won't help when you see the side of tire is gone. The cords split and made a bubble and POP. Cell phone and AAA and I was good to go. Truck driver called some local tire shops. Couldn't fine GT Qualifiers so I put a Daytona on.
