P.S. my dad's still looking and is willing to pay $500.00 finder fee for one, preferably around Texas and surounding states. Thanks, J

Default Speaking od Pantera's

True story...

When I was in College I had a girlfriend (who later became my fiance' only later to break it off 10 months before the wedding ) who wasa bar tender in Lake Okaboji Iowa. When I went out there to propose to her I saw a beautiful yello Pantera (i think it was a 71 or 72?) for sale. Get this....The sale sign said $7500.00 OBO!!!

That was of course in 1989 but still, can you imagine. And no, it was trashed at all. It was stunning! Now when I see them around $30 to $60K I just cringe at the missed deals that have come and gone. Moral of the story: I never married that girl, she ended up being a freaky psycho and I have since moved on to a truly amazing woman.

They cost around $10k when new. At a time when a new Vette or Cadillac cost a little over $6k.

Tell me what to look for and I'll check it out.

There were more Panteras sold in Clarksville, TN then any other city because soldiers were coming back to Fort Campbell with lots of flight pay from flying helicopters in Vietnam.

Investments be damned, I'm buying a Pantera!!
