Default Tire Pressure Needed!

I have Goodyear Eagles GT II on my 72 vette. Size is P225 70R15. I don't think this is the stock tire size for this vette and not mentioned in the manual. What tire air pressure should I use? I e-mailed Goodyear but they responded back that I need to ask the car manufacturer. Advice?

the owners manual for my 73 says 15psi, but 32 is a pretty safe number to use today. You can always adjust up and down depending on how they wear

You have the metric equivalent of the original G70-15. I run my 225's at 30 psi.

I have the same tires in 255/60/15 on my 69 bb and I run 28 or 30 lbs. Depends on which of my 2 gauges I use. Your gauge would probably read differently than mine also. Anyway, the tires are about 2/3 gone and they are wearing even all across the tread.
