Are the a-arm bushings so worn that the assembly has come forward?

Is the core support correct and in right?

Is the old radiator the same size as the new?

Default I dont think so

Well I am trying to install a dewitts direct fit.
the support is the one that came out of it and from the pictures that I have looked at it is correct.
Bushings are old but not that bad and the shroud is correct.
I just dont know!
Without the shroud I can install the red very easy but Ijust cant find the room with the shroud in. I spent all day and ding up my new rad and am still no where. I have to be missing something.

I dreamed about this sh*t last night

Default its in!!!!!

A CF member took me under his arm and helped me get it installed. We tried every way possible but finally had to take off the hood and she slid right in beween the shroud and the support. As for how it came out..the rad out first the shroud the support. I know it sounds strange but even thought it came out without removing the hood no way I could get it back in.

Thanks for all the advise and support its really great to be part of this group of Vette lovers!

...nice to see another '74 "no A/C" car here.

...did the new NOS core support/re-cored radiator R & R on my '75 two years ago. Was done in less than an hour by MYSELF, but then again my motor/tranny was out, hood off and A-arms off.
