I have begun the long process of customizing my 79' after months of searching for materials and ideas one web site I have found has been the most help. I just wanted to pass it along to the other members to save them those long hours of searching. I will post pictures as my project progresses.
I'm not trying to advertise. I am doing a complete custom interior on my 79'. I've got an upholster but to help cut cost I am buy the materials on my own. I found this custom hotrod company. Believe me I know how hard it is to find what you want and even harder to get some of the vendors out there to send you more than 2 samples at a time. This particular company not only sent me more than two but also helped pick out materials and colors to go with the paint job. They were extremely helpful and thought that their may be others who could use the info. You guys are touchy!!
Are you customizing a 79 Harley? Or, your Vette? The picture is of a motorcycle. I would be curious to learn more if it's a Vette-Shop.
Thanks
What I am going to do is 2 tone the interior with Ostrich skin and an ultra Leather. I'm just buying the materials from them and having my upholster do the actual work. I am going to fabricate a new center console and add some speakers into along with a courtesy light. I figure since the engine isn't original, why not customize the hell out of it.
