guy had a 427/390 horse 68 vett engine w/matching M21 on ebay from a burn car,and the rear frame section w/4.11s,the rest of the rear suspension,and the front frame section w/all the steering pieces,but manual.also,a 68 327/4-speed coupe that was missing the engine/trans,and the car was burnt soooo decent that it looked like a vert w/ a rollbar.the frame is suppose to be good.it is a roller.has the headlights,bumpers,grills,etc.shell is trashed,but does have pedals.the doors are trashed.the front clip on the driver's side top by the windshield is damaged,but could be salvaged.this car has no title.then,there's a naked 69 coupe rear shell from the firewall back that has a title,but NAKED!!!!!there was some odds,and ends...the 427 exhaust manifolds,etc.i was the highest bidder,and no where near what the guy wanted.he said 10k when i talked to him on the phone before the auction ended,and i was thinking....too bad that i quit smoking weed,cause it seems that he has some really good stuff over there.hmmmm.the 427 has the brackets,etc.,but i've never owned anything 427,so i don't know the value.i really don't even want the engine.could use the trans,but not really that important.i'm more after the rolling frame in hopes that i get the job of putting it under a another forum members 72,and i'll get the left over susp.pieces,the bumper cores,grills,etc.,and grooaaannnnn....another shell to add to my collection.i KNOW that it's hard to price something w/out seeing it,but any input here would be appreciated.anyone want to make me a offer on the 427,trans,the 4.11s,and the bb exhaust manifolds?thanks in advance.i'm probably going to check them out this Sat.am
