Alright, body's off, car is stripped next dilema...
i have to basically replace the existing frame on my 77 vette. i have found a replacement, so my question is, with the 2 frames sitting beside each other (the old and the new) is it just as easy to transfer the parts from the old frame to the new one then build the car from there or am i running into a world of trouble with repalce the frame and moving the parts of the old fram to the new one...
Floor pans are about $240 each and looks to me like fiberglassing them in will be easier than replacing, at least for me. Have you looked at the windshield frame? You can get all new parts for about $600 for everything but glass. The lower frame corners are hard to find, I have to fab one for mine. Its a bit of a trick to get the windshield frame all put together with the correct dimensions, angles etc, but not impossible. I just got rocker channel repair sections, both sides fro $160 from Caladonia. Take it apart slowly, carefully, don't break anything.
