Default Sidepipes !

Looking for creative ways to cover where the duals were.....thought about putting turn signals or extra bacup lights ! Don't want to plug them permanently !

you know that panel bolts in, You could get a panel with no cutouts and paint it to match bolt it in and keep your stocker......wait a minute that won't work forget I said that

Sure you could ... but that's not terribly creative - as asked.
Backup lights might be OK. I don't think I'd throw directionals down there.
If you just want to fill the hole ... or you could use a filler panel to
install backup lights, etc .... here it is on bottom right:
http://vanacorvette.com/page36.htm

Try finding a bolt-on panel that allows my 75 exhaust out the 73 rear ...
as seen in avatar. Don't worry too hard ... sidepipes here, too.
Already have a set of stock covers ... deciding on purchase or build of pipes.

it would work but on a 73 the cutouts for the tips actually go into the rear quarter a little bit.. now that I think about it the panel will cover that........ I think its time to go drink my lunch lol

Yeah, they should compliment each other fairly well. I thought the '73 had circles though.

Or do like the Canadian guy with the twin turbo hood and leave it mis-matched.

I was having a hard time matching the white, so I filled the seams and painted it to match the red:
