PPGcarpaint.com - BEWARE

I recently posted here about PPG paint and this PPGcarpaint website. Their website is nice (paint code finder and price estimator) but after reading the story below I probably won't order from them.
Well, since I have gotten nowhere with these fools, I thought I would share my experience with those here thinking of buying paint from them.
BEWARE!
Some weeks back, I decided to replace a damaged bed on my pickup and repaint the new bed to match the cab. I searched for paint sources and found ppgpaint. I understood that they were not affiliated with PPG, just familiar with and sold their products. Anyway, I decided to go on the cheap and buy their "Economy Base Coat...Equivalent to PPGs MBC".
A couple of days after ordering, I had the paint. I looked it over and noticed that the paint was sent in two 1 quart PPG labeled cans with a large sticker from ppgpaint stuck on the side that indicated the paint color code ordered and "PPG MBC". However, the original PPG label on the can indicated MAE!?! Questioning this, I emailed them and explained the above and indicated that I thought they had made a mistake and mixed the wrong paint.
PJ from PPG paint promply returned my email and indicated that though the can indicated MAE (from PPG not ppgpaint) that it was in fact MBC as ordered. OK, I took his word for it and shot my truck bed with the the paint reduced per PPG MBC tech sheets 1:1.
Immediately after shooting the truck, I knew that I had just shot MAE because as it SLOWLY dried, it didn't flatten like MBC basecoat should. It dried glossy. In fact, it took about 3 days to lose the tackiness, i.e. just like regular acrylic enamel.
I have since gone back and forth with these fools at ppgpaint trying to get a refund or at least true MBC to no avail. I am at the point now where I get no response from these fools at all.
Just my opinion, but if you need paint and were thinking of ppgpaint.com, I would recommend looking elsewhere, or, at the very least make sure they send you the correct stuff before you paint. Advice that I have always used, except, of course, in this case, if it looks like poop and smells like poop, it's probably poop.
Thanks, for reading my babble.

I will be buying paint from a local shop.
Too many variables and chances to F up for a hobbyist to buy through email.
I need face to face advice and reassurance.

That's exactly why I bought local, I don't know enough about paint to buy online. I found great deals on ebay, clear for $70 a gallon incl. the activator for example. Then I found that the local paint shop isn't a lot more expensive
I did however use PPGcarpaint's website a lot - their search engine is awesome and their price estimate is very close to what the local shop charges.

www.corvettepaintcodes.com lists that color as PPG code 13550. On PPGcarpaint.com it shows the same OEM code for this color (978) but it's only available in acrylic laquer.
Your local PPG distributer should be able to match the color since it's a PPG code
The corvettepaintcode website also lists Dupont and other paint manufacturers' codes
the Dupont # for Chromabase is 4909K and is available.
