Default close call with mice

My wife just found a nest of three mice less than 3ft from my vette and my 71z.Wow that was close. Now we have to check for more. What they did was find a nice big bag of bird seed, enough to last them a good long while.I've heard of so many stories about mice getting into your car and destroying it

Did she jump or scream or did she handle 'em ? Moth ***** work but the moths dont like it and they smell besides, also Cedar chips have been known to work and smell less stinky. Peace,,, Moosie

Downy fabric softener sheets seem to work. Moth ***** eventually evaporate and I've seen mice use cedar chips as a nest.

I had a slight problem last year as my home is in the middle of 8 acres. The mice found a bag of grass seed!. I bought them a full corse meal of DECON and set it in all the troubled places in the garage, along with a flat tray of water. Now, no mice and all is well
I guess it is a small price to pay not to live in the city limits

From what I hear, Anti freeze will also take care or it, along with all the unwanted cats in your area, but I never said that because all the die hard cat lovers will spaz out and actually think I have tried it...

I wouldn't bet on it! I use Irish Spring and one time I was in a duck blind and a mouse ran up my pant's leg. He stopped right below my crotch and I just sat there for a second trying to figure out what to do. I finally crushed him, but he had me worried about what he had snuggled up against. Whewww!

this works the best Victor repels " pest chaser " it's a tiny thing that plugs into a outlet, it puts out a sonic sound keeps everything away far away 103db pulses @ 68-to 80 times per sec. dont use if your kids have guinea pigs
never have anymore issues at all..........and it's cheap & odorless !!

I like that idea.

So, its undetectable to the human ear?

Will it work on squirrels and chipmunks too? I got them ******* all around the house.

I store anything a mouse would want to eat in large plastic containers....never had a mouse problem....if there's nothing for them to eat you woun't have a problem either.

Then they will just make a nest under the hood of your Vette where it is nice and warm.. It was happening to my diesel truck really bad when I would have the block heater plugged in. Nothing finer than starting up the motor and within a few min, hearing a "fling---THUD" under the hood when they try to bail out and get blasted by the fan.. It was the worst back when I would store alot of alfafa next to the garage.

I have a similar device called Pest Offense plugged into an outlet in my garage and so far, I've not had a problem with any of the little critters.
