Default Gotta love Corvette Central

It's like Christmas here at my house waiting for big brown. I ordered a pair of bb aluminum orange powder coat valve covers. Waited over a week, what's in the box, not my new covers, a oil pan. WTF! The box even says valve covers. Even if our country raises minimum wage, this will still happen, customer service aint what it used to be...

I have been been buying Vette parts for several years...and I always come back to CC...good service, email updates on your order, good products and competitive prices...not the cheapest. Most of all they have the biggest selection. CC works for me!!!

Mid-America seems to have decent for me, but most of my best dealings have been with Summit. Cam and lifters delivered on a SATURDAY for under $100.

My question, though, is why did you order ORANGE valve covers? Maybe I'm boring but I neutral colors under my hood. I'm not a raiders fan, but I like black and silver under there. Maybe it's a sign that you should be getting something prettier?

I usually only order from Ecklers but with them charging exorbitant shipping charges I placed my first order with CC last month. I instructed them to ship complete by parcel post. Well guess what someone over at CC actually knows where the post office is. The parts arrive complete and by them knowing where the post office is i saved the $120 that FedEx usually extorts from me on this end when Ecklers ships to me. Maybe now that the Democrats are running congress they will open a post office in Florida.

They shipped it by USPS and it actually got there?! Incredible!

Don't even get me started on the post office... they've lost stuff for me on more than one occasion.

Nothing scream BB like those big orange valve covers.

Minimum wage doesn't increase intelligence.

That reminds me ....I have a back order @ CC

Its been so long, but I believe it is the left side ignition shielding, the vertival chrome piece. Ordered last March, BO'd, received one in July, wrong side, got a phone/VM meassage. They sent the wong part, keep this part, no need to return, will send out the correct one when it is available, but now they have my money. Last call to Michigan and now they are lookng @ a January delivery......

The good news...they called

Ok, Jug When we scheduling a CF C3 Tech day to work on that hood. You need a real air cleaner on that BB. I'll bring the hammer if you buy the beer.

Never had a problem with C.C. Yes, they had to backorder things occasionally, but I'm satisfied overall.

I used Corvette Central once and they were fine, no problems at all. I buy most of my stuff from Zip, they have backordered an item here and there like everyone but they are real nice people and I will continue to use them. I also find Corvette Central to be slightly more expensive than Zip. VB&P is also on my list of favorite people to buy from, they are real nice folks to deal as well.

Guess I am one of the lucky ones...ordered many items in the past from the biggies(CC,ZIP,Ecklers,Summit). Never any really problems except a bad quality water valve from one of them.

Backorders? Every once in a while I'll get a back-order. But I plan my work way in advance so I can order all the parts ground freight. By the time I'm doing the job, hopefully I have all the parts.
