restoration pack?

I phoned this evening to try and get the pack , but as soon as I gave my Canadian address they said I would have to call the Canadian GM version. I explained my car was origionally from South Carolina, but they said I had to call local. So I'll try tomorrow and probably get the $40 price thrown at me. I'll hold out hope till I call.

I just got mine! Pretty cool information, from regional places that offer supplies/parts, to basic information common in the year.
I received two books. One was the Chevrolet/Geo Customer Assistance Center Hobby & Sales Group Past Model Information Book, which has 47 pages of information from Storage, Restoration Parts Licensing Program, Cowl Tag Ordering, Performance Parts Publication and Reference Guide Ordering, Past Model Suppliers, Automotive Publications, Automobile Clubs & Associations, and Sanctioning Bodies.
The other book was the Specifications guide book. Many things are covered, from VIN and Model Number specs to various features for the specific year. There's LOTS of information in this one, all in a nice 35-ish page book.
Both are simple photcopies that are still impressive to get from the automaker for a 33 year old vehicle! Get it while it's free, it's worth it!

Well I too am from Canada and I just got off the phone with gm in USA.I never told her(customer representative) I was from Canada....She asked for my phone # and gave her my home phone,then she asked for my adress and I gave her a US adress that I get stuff that I bought shipped there(beats the hassle of the borders).Then she asked for the serial number and my corvette was never registered in the US and BAM she said I will get it in 2 to 3 weeks...youppie
( she also sounded VERY SEXY)Now I can't wait to get it
