congrats to the Bucks, awesome game & Troy played brilliantly. heisman no brainer
lets see what happens in the REMATCH!
NO REMATCH!!!! UM had their chance. They may be the second best in the country, but they are not even #1 in the Big 10. Prove that the Big 10 is the best this year. OSU is the Big 10 Champ. They should play the PAC 10 or SEC champ (assuming they are still a one loss team). If USC, Arkansas, and Florida all lose again then maybe. No way Notre Dame even if they beat USC.
Ohio State pretty much had their way with Michigan's vaunted defense, shredding them for over 500 yards total offense and 42 points (including 186 yards rushing against a defense giving up an average of less than 30 yards a game). Wouldn't have even been a close game if Ohio State hadn't turned the ball over three times. In Michigan's defense, they played hard and never gave up... A commendable showing by that team from up north.
Troy Smith probably locked up the Heisman Trophy with his performance against Michigan on Saturday... Seems like he has his act together after his earlier issues and his on field performance and leadership are one of the reasons why Ohio State will be playing in the BCS Championship.
Jim Tressel has Lloyd Carr's number... Just like Carr had Cooper's.
As far as a rematch goes... I'm sure that the Bucks will play whoever the BCS chooses. Personally, I think Michigan had their opportunity and I have to wonder about giving a team that didn't even win their conference a second chance. Right now, Arkansas is playing the best football out of the four contending teams still playing (Arkansas, Florida, USC, and Notre Dame)... If they get past Florida, they should get their shot at #1.
