Holley Question

If you are runnig the car with the air cleaner off. Can you look down the carb and see vacuum secondarys open by reving the motor?

No, the engine has to be under a load. So the only way to see it would be to look down the carb while some one else drives the car down the road

I guess, I'll drive and have old lady look down the carb. She better not scratch anything while holding on or I'll have to stop fast!!

Strap it down and do a burnout while she watches. That should put enough load on the engine to open the secondaries with less chance that she'll scratch the finish.
