Default Great Dealer Experience

After several weeks of waiting, I finally picked up my nearly-new 1971 vert today at GM Down Under in Costa Mesa, CA (www.gmdownunder.com). Given all of the really horrible dealer experiences out there, I figured folks might want to hear about a really great one...

I started searching for a C2/C3 several months ago. I investigated numerous sites and dealers. I also read a bunch of the horror stories posted on CF.

The folks at GM Down Under (John & Rusty) were incredible. Absolutely no . None. They explained everything about the car, met with me numerous times on weekends, endured countless phone calls and emails, did some custom work on it for me and even went way above-and-beyond on a new paint job that was in progress when I purchased the car. They did all of this enthusiastically.

These guys are really ethical folks and all of the testimonials on their site are dead-on. They love the cars as much as we do...

Here are a few pictures they snapped on Thursday...

Thanks for the positive report. It gets old when all anyone wants to share is the bad experiences. Nice car. Have a great time with it!

Nice color and a set of chrome bumpers on a vert. Nice combo. Have fun with it and enjoy the sun.

Thanks! I love the contrast between the C6 and the C3. The seats are Corbeau A4s (leather). I ordered them from Apex. There is a better shot in my photo gallery.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm looking forward to being an active contributor on this forum. I've already gained some really useful knowledge about the car from reading a bunch of threads on wheels, suspensions, engines, interior, etc.
