Default t-top question

Hello to all New vette owner but not new to old chevy's. I recently bought a 74 vette but with a 1980 body on it. I think the tops are from the 74,back part of the top has a v in it for the r=triangle bolt also has a place for the latch lever. The body has a plate with a spring loaded switch. Not sure what parts to get to make it latch. Thanks

69-77 triangle halo panel latches will work. Before you remove the 78-80 hardware be advised there is a tapping plate in the halo panel behind the latches which hold the theft alarm switches for the tops. You can expect these to fall to the bottom of the pillar unless you remove the interior trim and get a hand on them.

You second option is to purchase a pair of 78-82 tops.

Hey thanks for the help. One other question is there also supposed to be a latch to hold it down or does the triangl bolt hold it ok.

Triangle at the rear outer corners; latches at the windshield header; tongues and receivers on the T-bar.
