It's not that hard, but if you're gonna go the switch route, I suggest C5 seats. They are much more comfortable, and will cost about the same to get. You will have to do a little custom work to get them in either way, but you end up with a better bucket.

C4 seats will fit, I'm just saying if you're gonna go through the trouble, may as well step it up to C5 seats.

Search previous posts on this subject. I recall someone posting that they were removing C5 seats from thier car to put originals back in and the seats were for sale. Might be a bolt in solution at this point. Seems like this was posted last week.

Search/Advanced Search/check "Archives" and "C3 Forums" - it's been done many, many times.

Search can be your best friend. Check C4 sale section for buckets for sale, as they switch to C5 seats a lot too.

Default Seat Switch

We prefer the 94-96 seats. I have lots of miles in them both in C3's and C4's on very long road trips from 2000 to 7000 miles. They even do a swell job protecting one's neck during rear enders!

Have you sat in the C5 seats yet? Those things are choice. I know they tend to be pricey, and that's why I eventually went to '01 Celica T seats...but there are far better choices than just C3 seats.
