Default need engine code help

Here is the deal...I got a book on corvette codes and hit wall on the engine code. The code is V0331CTG now I know it is flint plant march 31st 1970, but what is CTG!! My car is 1970 350/300 ,AC, manual brakes and steering, monza red, coupe, auto trans, deluxe radio, (not that you need all that info, but just in case) and yes the engine numbers match. From my research it should be CTM for base motor and auto trans...is the G because of the AC? Oh, and its not CTQ...I checked to make sure..or maybe my eyesight is that bad

It is not that I am restoring it to be a numbers matching car (because it is definatley not going to match when I am done ) but I am just curios of the cars history and would love some help.

The Corvette Blackbook lists CTG as 350/300 base engine with automatic transmission for the 70 models. CTM is also listed. I think I read something about these codes in the 70-72 NCRS Judging Manual earlier in the week. I'll look back through the guide tonight. Only the 350/350 smallblocks have codes for AC cars.

NCRS Judging Guide lists both codes, CTM and CTG, as correct for '70 base engine TH400 cars.
