progress on my shop...
I made some decent progress on my shop today and thought I’d post some stuff about it. If you’re interested, click on a pic, if not, why are you reading this thread?
This was the start. It was a three sided RV shed with a dirt floor when I came here. I saw it as a shop from day one.
After putting the front and floor in, it immediately became one big *** storage shed. Great for beer drinking, but ****ty for working on the truck or vette.
I did all the electrical myself – other than getting power to the building, which is not done yet. I’m just learning to bend conduit – not that hard if you’re not in a hurry. One thing I didn’t skimp on – actually, I won’t skimp much at all – just do some stuff later when I can afford to do it right.
I’ll insulate the entire building at some point but thought I’d make sure anything that gets covered permanently is insulated now.
Always have a son do a lot of the dirty work for you whenever possible.
This is the start of a 23’-7” workbench. Makes me **** a little just thinking about it.
It’s still a frikkin mess, but I see daylight at the end of the tunnel.
