Nice shape from the pics, but you never know until you dig in.
Looks like Bubba was there a couple times, but no big deal.
The reverse lights have been replaced with another set of tail lights.
The mirrors have been "upgraded" with sport mirrors, rather than the chrome ones it "should" have.

Just kidding...........great find, looks like a fun project. Enjoy your resto time with your son, thats most important. Teach him everything you know so you can have him pass it on to his kids............keep us posted with pics as ya go !!!
You bought a well running 73 for 3900, and you got a great deal I'd say. The roughness you mention, really looks no more than cosmetic, which is a great foundation to start with. Congratulations and have a lot of fun.

Just came from the garage. I am feeling real lucky right now. Frame is in "A1" shape. Totally solid underneath. That was my only fear on the whole car. Everything else can be purchased and replaced.
Just saw the tilt and telescoping steering wheel. That's awesome. Dash is ok and all gauges still work. Did all C3's/73's have the tilt/telescope wheel????
