Windshield washer pump help
My '71 coupe has a 5-outlet washer pump that doesn't work. On a ZIP product web page, it indicates that I should "check the diaphragm for cuts or tears". I've taken the outlet assembly apart and don't see any diaphram in there...just a opening in the white plastic housing. Should there be a rubber diaphragm in there? I don't see a repair replacement part for a diaphragm in any of the parts catalogs..???

Don't even waste your time finding the parts, (if you could). I just had my 5 ports pump rebuilt by Danny at Wiperworks. Very fast service, and it works like a charm. Contact him at wiperman57@msn.com.

Thanks for the feedback, ctrain. I sent off a note to Danny to get some info and costs. But I always like to learn something whenever I have a problem on the car. I'd still like to know if the pump is supposed to have a diaphragm or not. Anyone?
