He would consider '56 to '72 as a partial payment?

I didn't pick up on that until now...he wants a chrome bumper car as a partial trade? Haw. I doubt that.

That's a bit much for that car I think, and I would wager little has been done under the car.

You can do an LT1 swap, even a good one for under 1K. I almost did it for half that.

I changed my mind. I bought the motor and trans, took the intake and decided to keep my built 400, and sell the rest. I bought everything for $500 and sold it all for just over $600. I got the intake, harness, computer, and a few odd parts, and made a profit on it all.

Please, forgive me,but i'm one of those old fashioned loyal dogs, and the green machine belongs to a friend of mine.He spared NO EXPENSE under the car,in the car,or otherwise.Yes,i would've probably started w/a chrome bumper car,but i just found him one, somaybe that's next, but how many custom 74s are there like this????I have a 68 coupe.68 vert,69 coupe, and a 69 vert.,and anything that i can do to anyone of these cars, there's 100 forum members right here that's already done it.He built a unique car,and has over 40k in reciepts, and that's no labor, fella's.Peace, and love to ya all!!! I respect it and like it a lot...but I don't think he'll get that much out of it. That's a lot of coin for a '74 rubber bumper car. Like I said...no disrespect...it's an amazing car.

I did everything to mine, but flair the fenders. I don't care much for the flaired fenders on the "rubber bumper" Corvettes. I would have liked to of had a drop top however. I would have to say that my green is much nicer!

I've seen many pics, and know all the work put into this car,but my wife, and i went up north this past weekend, and dropped in on FreddieZ,and saw the the 74 vert in person.A UNBELIEVABLE car!!!!!Perfect in every way.Rebuilt LT1,C4 susp.,and no detail forgotten.Pics do this car NO justice. That's honest. If someone took the time to go actually, see this car,and drive it,they'd fall in love.He dropped to 30k firm,so if you all are interested...........815-494-6664 This car is perfect in every way.
