That's a cool pic. Are you sure the keys are in your hands and not in the ignition..........j/k........lol
I have a big backyard and my son in the pic drives an F250 4X4 (stick) around. He sits right at the very edge of the seat and every time he shifts, his head disappears. (his older brother rides w/him)
I stopped to gas up my '80 after one of my last rides of the season (I live in Minnesnowta). I had just started pumping gas when I heard the woman standing next to her open driver's door of her sport ute next to me say, "Go ahead. You can tell him."
A 5- or 6-year old boy jumped out of the back seat and literally hopped over to me and said, "Hey mister! NICE car!" I told him "Thank you. You could own one of these yourself someday, you know." He gave me a thumbs up and jumped back into his mom's sport ute.
I'm not sure if his mom appreciated me putting that thought in his head or not, but she did smile.
With all our exposure to these cars, inside out, upside and under, we sometimes take them for granted. I can't go anywhere without anyone close to the car within earshot saying " Nice Car!". I say "Thanks, Yes they are." These Stingray bodies will forever be the corvettes of memory.
