Default 496-t-10

I've already rebuilt the tranny, I was too frustrated and PO'ed to stop and take pictures. The motor is a 496 and it's being built at a friends shop who is a good friend with my neighbor who is actually building it. My neighbor used to build race motors for cicle track guys, good references. They also have a dyno at the shop so I'm hoping for that to be a free-be.I'm going with SRP pistons, H-beam rods and a cast steel crank. Heads are ported oval ports with new guides and Manely valves with the narrowed stems and 2.19 I and 1.88 E. Still have to get a carb and intake, roller cam, water pump, fuel pump...etc...

So we should expect a few more threads from you on that stuff huh? Man that's the best part of so many guys doing the same thing...it's all different.

Default Same projects with all different touches

Different motors and trannys, body styles and rims...it's great. We get a lot of great ideas for our cars and when I steal your idea for my car your not in the same town, province or state so we all stay unique.

You could build a frig'n clone of my car and I wouldn't care...in fact, I'd be flattered.
