Going through a box of old photos and came across this. Remember it well, mid 80s after a really heavy rain.

as deep as he's in he'll get the hei wet also
(yes hei, it's an 80-82 model, look at the hood bulge and it has sport mirrors)

It was a chrome bumper. Wife and I were cruising around in my truck after the storm taking a few pics. Saw this guy approaching the intersection and couldn't believe it when he kept going! Couldn't wait around to see if he made it because of the messed up traffic.
Notice the water lapping up OVER the bumper!
