Default Emergency brake light ?

Last night I drove my 71 for the first time in a couple months. While stopped and pressing the brake pedal the e brake light came on. I got home and checked the fluid (it was good).

Any ideas on where to go from here. Thanks in advance.

Happened to me. You need to bleed the brakes. You might have a bad proportioning (sp?) valve.

Light come on if you pull the PB handle or if there is a pressure shift between the front and rear chambers( leak) Look for a leak at the calipers, lines, hoses, and rear of the M/C.

Fluid/pressure issue. Fill, bleed, etc. To reset the light start the car and push it down as hard as you can for at least three seconds. You will feel a kind of blip in the pedal and the light will reset.
