Doesn't show up in my "Corvette by the numbers" book, but appears to be a Rochester from about 1979-80 era. they list a 17059584 which is a 79, then the next number is 17080204 which is an 80 model Quadrajet. Must go on some other GM car.

Hey Clint,
I think Frank is correct in assuming this is a marine application carb. The slash cut, reversed vent tube is the identifying feature. Look at the picture in Frank's link that shows the top of the carb. If your vent tube looks like this one it's a marine application.
Probably an OK carb if your Corvette was in New Orleans during Katrina.
