Shocking Inquiry
Can anyone identify the following GM rear shocks?
5513847 2C69
DELCO PRODUCTS
DAYTON OHIO U.S.A.
They are the correct shade of gray with a spiral twist, and appear to be NOS. I purchased these at a parts meet. The seller said they were factory racing shocks for Corvettes. (He had a bridge too...)
I have checked them against the suspension on my 66 and they do appear to be physically correct. GM (of course) says they no longer have the books to identify these numbers.
Are they 1969 F41 equipment or something more esoteric? Any ideas?
