Go Bears
See I'm a Rams fan AND a Bears fan. I was sooo happy that da Bears got to go to the big show. The only thing that pissed me off in their five game losing streak was all the penalties...some wrong calls...and costly injuries. If the Giants had lost their last game, the Rams would have been int he playoffs...facing off against the Bears one more time for NFC champion.
Didn't much care for the 80's bears either with slimebag McMann, ahole Ditka ....yada yada.
Is there anything to Chicago besides endless rows of project housing?
Sorry but as you guys know i say what's on my mind. Nobody in my neighborhood likes me either cause i told them all at a Christmas party years ago that the Patriots would never go anywhere with whiney spoiled bratt that is Bledsoe.

I won't argue at all about the Pats. I have always loved that team. Very noble, very humble...and they work together as most other teams cannot. I feel they played much better than the Colts and they should have won that game. But, they didn't. Oh well. Now, I will cheer for another team I like...Chicago.
I've been to Chicago many times, and I like it a lot.

Yea..the lakefront, Rush Street, any cuisine you desire, theater, some of the best museums in the country, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the cubs, ethnic festivals, holiday parades, fourth of July boat parades, University of Chgo., Unv of Ill., DePaul University, Northwestern, Connies Pizza, China Town, Greek Town....you get the point...next time you go, try to stay out of the projects and go with someone who knows their way around...I feel sorry for you...you went to one of the greatest cities in the country and all you can remember is the projects.
I grew up on the South Side of Chgo. Pretty close to some of the worst sh*tholes you ever wanted to see. I was lucky to make it out of there. Daley Jr. has done a great job in the last 15 years cleaning up the city. Yea it still has it's problems just like any big city..I've traveled all over the country and to quite a few different countries. Stockholm is my favorite city....but I still love Chgo.

Cultural capital with it's world renouned Art Museum, Planetarium, Aquarium, Natural History and Science & Industry Museums. Culinary capital, transportaion capital, business capital, worlds second busiest airport, rail hub of the midwest, two major zoo's, Michigan Avenues "Magnificent Mile", miles of gorgous downtown lakefront beaches and harbors, some of the best universities in the country,....whew, I'm tired of typing and haven't even mentioned the suburbs.
FYI: The majority of those housing projects are GONE, and the neighborhoods once known as slums have been rehabed & rebuilt. Check the facts before you condem

I've been a few times and always get lost in some crappy looking area. So I just don't have a good impresion of the city.
I've been to just about every major city in the country so i do have something to compare too.
Boston isn't my most favorite place either but its much much nicer than Chicago.
San Francisco, NYC and Seattle are my favorite big cities. Nothing in Chicago that these don't have.
the pats had my respect until last sunday, when, after beating the team i loved, they did merrimans sack dance on the field, on the logo.
and taunted the crowd with the same dance.
if you win, be respectful about it.
i don't dislike them because they beat my team, it's what they did afterward.
and chicago is a GREAT city. did some business when i was there, and liked it so much, i took my girlfriend out to see the bear/charger game at the new stadium 3 years ago.
the stadium sucked, but chicago is great.
wait is this a joke...they freakin dominated the saints, they physically man handled them, didnt turn the ball over, only 1 penalty for 5 yds in the game, forced 4 turn overs...one was a safety, and thomas jones set a new nfc championship rushing record? now tell me how thats terrible? So next time your saints do that, I'll call you up and if you still agree its a terrible effort, I'll give you my vette.

He meant the Chefs, in their playoff game, not the Bears playing the Saints.
