Default Slotted rotor question

Can anyone tell me which way a slotted rotor is supposed to point? This is a view of the passenger front side of my car. It would be spinning clockwise if that helps. I think I have the wrong rotor on. The instructions are vague I thought i would ask before I got too far.

Thanks in advance.

AP recommends installing theirs that way but it won't make a whole lot of difference (and may actally look better the othre way around) the vane curvature is more important and sice c3s use straight vanes it doesn't matter (otherwise the vane curvature would dictate direction of rotation)

Pheeew! thanks the thought of ripping all that apart AGAIN was making me nuts. the instructions have no pictures or diagrams so it's all trial and error

yea the difference would be incredibly insignificant imo. but then i think monster trucks would get better traction if they turned their treads the other way, so what do i know

wait a minute, I just read your message, and looked at the pic. The rotors turn clockwise there, AP recoommends the slots the other way around.

Tony, I thought I saw your t-top car on here the other day with a new user name. Did you sell and buy a midyear?

Dammit you caught me. I sold my 75 to a fellow forum member ED T. I talked a freind into selling me his 63 when he bought a c5. Once in a lifetime deal I couldn't pass it up. I still post here from time to time. I'm more familiar with the names on the C3 forum.

P.S. It needs a paintjob in the next few years my wife and I like your car so much I'm thinking of painting it the same color.

I would leave them as they are, it looks a lot better and I doubt there's any difference. I have no idea why AP recommends theirs the other way around..they're there mostly for looks anyway on a non racing application.

Thanks I'll leave it then it took too much time getting this far. Just so you know the kit came with slotted rotors I didn't pay extra for them.
