Aerodynamics also. The headers curved rearward imediatly after exiting the head, and were close to the bodywork and ended in the center of the car under a very high wing (still can't find a good pic of this).

That's what everyone needs. A set of pipes obstructing your vision while you drive. Brilliant. So the exhaust gas can rise up vertically and blow over your head in an open air car. I can smell the ingenuity.

actually lookng at the setup i think this would be an awsome setup on a Ford GT40 kit car with a SBC engine in it. it would be a lot easier to route the exhaust out the back of the car and make for a slick setup. the car he has the engine in might not be the best car to do this to but it is still a really neat setup.
