Any suggestions for a source of touch-up paint (Mille miglia, where'd that come from?). Its not in Ecklers,Mid America or Corvette Central Catalogs.
Thanks...
I went to my local auto paint store. They have a device kind of like a Polaroid camer that they placed on my hood. Then the plugged this device into a computer which spit out a paint formula. It iwas like $30+ for a pint but it matched my paint perfectly. Ain't afraid of those paint chips now.
I have some procedures I wrote to do the touch ups if interested.
You can get just about any year any color from paintscratch dot com. For a perfect match you may be better off going to an auto body shop that has the scanner system like vetteman1978 described.
I bought dead-on Lemans Blue touchup paint at Bloomington Gold from a forum member named Chuck Pelton (his real name and screen name.) Do a member search and PM him. He also restores steering wheels. Lives in Michigan. He can get you exactly what you're looking for in a 2 oz. bottle.
