I pulled the body off the frame by myself in the dead of night, wife walked into the garage the next morning and nearly killed me for doing it without telling anybody. She tends to worry about me hurtin myself or something, like when I replaced the capacitors on my arcade cabinet and had to discharge the monitor voltage she on the phone with 9-1 already dialed.

Seriously, I've done pretty much everything on my own, though I did get help getting the differential off. Still haven't tackled putting everything back on though.

My wife only gets nervous when I get the blow torch out. I wonder why?

I have done the majority of the work on my Vette by myself, and can do all of it if I wanted to, but having an extra set of hands (the wife's) makes things go faster, and safer.

I did the 327 in my '68, years ago, by myself. I was younger and more ambitious back then. I took the motor out with the bell housing attached, and when I put it back in with the new clutch and bell on, I didn't even use an alignment tool!!! I lined up the splines while it was hanging and it slid in like a knif thru butter.

I'd rather be lucky than good!!!

I'm one guy and have done all the work on my vette alone. There have been instances though where I can solicit some family help.

I do most of my work by myself. If you get help from a friend that's great, have beer and the friend will come back. Just don't depend on others to get the job done or it will never get done. Does that make sense. Think every job out in your head & on paper before you do it. Any job can be done by one man w/the right tools. G/L post pic's
