Default Trans Info!!!

One thing maybe you guys can help me with. I want to sell my old trans and associated parts and it would be easier to do if I knew the answers to some of the questions I am sure will be asked. So here is a pic of my old trans. and the numbers I got off of it.
[IMG][IMG][/IMG][/IMG]
The numbers are this...
Metal tag on side near shift levers...870357
Driver side casting number.............3884685
Pass. side casting number..............3885010
Tail shaft casting number...............3857584 GM
Thanks for any help in advance!
Also if anyone knows what this might be worth, That would be good to know also.
Last time I sold a stock T-Stat housing for $3.50 only to find out they were going for #60.00 on the bay!!!
I don't want to make that mistake again. I was thinking 4 to 5 Hundred???? Thats with the bell W/fork and throwout brng. Clutch disk, Z-Bar clutch pedal rodW/new boot, New reverse light sw. Hurst Comp Plus shifterW/O shift handle + shipping. Whadaya think???

I show that tail shaft number as 1968 and the shifter rods with studs and nuts look like 68 or older also, 69 and later rods went to bolts.

Should also be a small stamping vertically on the right side edge.

How many grooves on that input shaft?

As a guage for setting the price, I just bought a '76 BW Super T-10 tranny and everything else you show in your picture plus the shifter and clutch housing (think that's the name) for $1,100. I'd say it wasn't in as good a shape as what's you show. If what you show is in good shape and you're selling it all for $500, then I want it.

You can not gauge the condition of the trans without pulling the side cover and inspecting it.....

PS: what is the casting number on the bellhousing??

Then you would be taking advantage of me!
Really I never want to make money from anyone here, this is a hobby for me. I just want to find out what this trans was designed for from the numbers I've given and then sell it to someone for a fair price!
Thanks for getting my hopes up though!

Maincase #, extension housing #, and side cover # ALL come up 1967 Muncie. Date code of a P7T20....P=4-speed muncie, 7=1967 T=Dec. 20=day 20. Check how many ring grooves (not splines) on input shaft. 1 groove =M21 close ratio, 2 grooves=M20 wide ratio. Bellhousing #3899621=1966-1974 BB and 1973-1982 small block w/11 inch clutch. M20's and M21's regularly sell for between $750-$900 prof. rebuilt. A NEW Richmond super T-10 is about $1400. I hope this helps you out.

Tranny codes are different than other date codes

T is December so the tranny is a 12/66 build for a 67 model ???

Unless you find a VIN stamp no way to know what it originally came in
