Does anyone know if there is a website with facts such as production numbers according to specific trim/exterior color for 68's? Thanks

The Corvette Blackbook might be your best bet; it lists the quantities of the exterior colors, but nothing on interior colors. Ditto for my NCRS Specificaitons Guide. As a rule, GM did not track the number of the various interior color installations.

What is the color combination on your trim tag?

Sorry. My mistake, I thought for sure that '68 interior color production was found.

I do have interior colors breakdown for '71.

interior colors - I didn't think it was available, but I could be wrong.

combinations of paint/interior - Definitely not available. you have to estimate.

I would guess there were very very few 68 Polar white with dark orange interior. The DO interior was paired with the Bronze exterior and wasn't used much else. (Just that one green car we have seen! )

First would love to get the build information from your car, 68's are my specialty. Polar White and Tuxedo Black were the only colors available with all seven interior colors. Incidentally the data you request was not saved by anyone at the time, so what you have is impossible to check. Its pretty rare. I don't think another would be easy to find as I have 600 68 corvettes logged and only one convert had something similar, a 972/tobacco car. Remember that there were seven interior colors and 5 more leather options leather being unavailable in Dark Blue and Gunmetal. There were a lot of white/blue cars and a few white/red cars. The rest are just difficult to find these days unless you get at the trim tag, as they have probably been dyed black! Please email Me with the data on your fascinating 68!

Dark Orange and Tobacco were available with White, Black or Bronze exteriors, except by COPO order. There was one 426 Orange interior Leather with 983 British Green car built on a COPO order, conv # 19384. How close is your car?

The "one of one" seen at the Carlisle auction and ebay is a vert. Is there another?

Also, dark blue 411 (unfortunately) was not available in leather.

It is a vert, I have trouble reading the 37 or 67 sometimes. Gunmetal and dark blue were the two unavail in leather as well. Dk orange was available in leather...

Were any 68's delivered in primer?

White will be fairly common. The dark orange would be somewhat rare. I'd say it will be a while before you run across another '68 with this combination.

I bet she's pretty.
