I live on the southwest side of Denton...just off of Lake Lewisville's Hickory Creek Branch. My 1977 was purchased new in Slaton, Texas by its First Owner....I bought from him as a trade-in on his new Z-06, in August of 2005. .... You bet ...I would look forward to meeting any of you C-3 's.

Austin, TX,..Wells Branch area. Soon to move to Crystal Falls near Leander.

Two 73's,..a coupe and vert. Coupe is 60% complete,..Vert is 40%. That's 100% of something.

I came across these folks a while back. If your seat foam is in decent shape they may work.

Just testing the waters here.....It looks like we have enough here in Texas for a Central Texas "Lars Tuning for beer" get-together. That will test Lars' tuning abilities for the Texas summer heat....lol. I will host if Lars is interested and someone will help with the logistics. P.M. me.

Im pretty sure that they are still doing it. Do you know when it starts? i know they do it in the summer... Ive been to Cruisers a few times, and i have never seen a Corvette. It would be cool if we could have at least 10 to 15 Corvettes there. WE would probably win all the awards too...

Cruisers closed down late last year.

TexasYankee thanks for the info. I bought new foam and seat covers from Willcox but I'm afraid to attempt it.

I have an Elkhart Green 72. I currently live in Waco but lived in Dallas for the majority of my 40 years until my job brought me to Central TX nine years ago. Both sets of parents (mine & in-laws) live in Dallas so I am usually up there at least once a month.

It would be neat to get a gathering of c3's just to meet everyone and to exchange ideas and to see where the others are purchasing replacement parts for there c3's.
I have had my 73 since feb. 06 and when i take it out i have only seen 2 others this past yr. and when i did they yelled and hi-five eachother.
I would like to see some other c3's to get ideas on what i need to do next and how to do it, since this is my first corvette. I am somewhat older than most of you so i have alot more to learn.
Maybe someone can organize a rally on the weekend and have breakfast or lunch and "bs".

Hey zwede! What wheels and tires you got on there? I want 'em!

Do you have any suspension mods? Did you raise or lower it any?

Adam is our unofficial lunch coordinator, but a saturday morning breakfast would be pretty cool. Most guys would have a easier time making that. Plan away.

As most of you North Texas Folks can tell....I ain't from around these parts. So, anywhere within 60 miles of My Place ....I consider Local. In the event that somebodies can put together a " B4C4 Social Week-end Thing ". I can't twist-off until after 6:00 P.M. on a Saturday, and I can work out a "agreement".... for a Sunday.
Hope to be C-3ing Y'all.

Rims are american racing CL205s. These are like the TT2's but with powder coated spokes. Size 17x8, 4" BS. Tires are 255/50-17. I think my ride height is pretty much stock or maybe just higher than stock.

Suspension mods are just bigger swaybars, alignment, gas shocks, tubular upper control arms & a spreader bar.

I'm in McKinney near 75 and Virginia. Right now I'm working way too many hours but once it slows down I'd like an invite too guys. If you can get Lars down here I have a big carport and a spare room.
