Trim COde
WHy is it I can't find usefull information on Corvette Trim Code? Here's the deal. Mine has what appears to be a I01, 402 and 976, now that seems simple and this link http://www.novashop.net/info/trimtags.htm shows me samples of the tags. Mine don't look like these. Mine has CHEVROLET writting across the top, and my vin tells me it should have been built in April of 69. SO.... Why the I01?

402=Black Leather
976=Lemans Blue Metallic.

402 is Black leather
976 is LeMans Blue
Correct trim tag says "CHEVROLET" across the top
