400 vs 350
Ok here is the question I have a 400 small in a vette now it has a mild cam headers etc. The heads were a casting number from a truck, It runs great but has a few leak issues it has been sitting a long time, but you can leave rubber 60'. I also have a 350 crate engine I bought it has aluminum heads, nice cam etc, my other two vettes also have 350's in them they dont seem to have the torque for launching that the 400 has, so would I be better just to freshen up the 400? Do they have more torque? Please comment, thanks.

Take the aluminum heads from the 350, drill for steam holes, then put them on your 400. Not sure which alum heads you have, but they could be worth 50+ HP vs. your stock 882 smogger heads.
