Default what is this switch?

Ever since i bought my vette this switch has never worked and i have always wondered what it is and what it does?

I think it is for the rear window defroster.

Rear defrost option. I had that one two of my '77s, and neither of them still had the rear glass with the heating filaments. If you have that option...it may just be bad connections or broken filaments.

My car has the rear defogger. It didn't work when I got it, but after fixing some of the wiring and cleaning the contacts it works. The amazing part is the sections of missing grid on the rear window, but I've seen it defog the rear window on cold mornings.

in 78 if its not the filaments themselves there is a relay.. which best I can tell doesnt exist in any other model...I got mine working early on just by replacing the relay...

Don't listen to all the jokesters. If that switch is not working right you probably need to check the relay. If your car becomes invisible when you turn on the switch, the cloaking device is functioning properly.
